We’re so excited to honor Lesbian Legacies this LGBTQIA+ History Month! Dave’s Lesbian Bar is taking over the Meow Mix Reunion from 3 pm – 9 pm on Sunday, October 26th. If you don’t know about Meow Mix, it was an iconic live music lesbian bar on the Lower East Side of Manhattan from 1996–2004. It paved the way for spots like Dave’s! 🩷

Spaces like Meow Mix are sacred. Meow Mix wasn’t just nightlife; it was a lifeline. For eight great years, they gave women, queers, and nonbinary folks space to scream, sing, flirt, heal, and dance through it all.

We’re so proud that Meow Mix has linked arms with Dave’s! Together, we’re bridging generations, proving that lesbian space isn’t disappearing; it’s evolving.

Old school is not gone; it’s guiding us.
New school is not replacing; it’s rising up from the roots.
