Since July 2021, Dave’s has been hosting monthly block party-style pop-ups (held within the walls of historic Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden during colder months) that focus on a seasonally appropriate mutual aid fundraising theme. Funds gathered from these pop-ups go to mutual aid organizations and also towards opening our permanent worker co-op space in Astoria.

Dave’s Lesbian Bar X Meow Mix Reunion
We’re so excited to honor Lesbian Legacies this LGBTQIA+ History Month! Dave’s Lesbian Bar is taking over the Meow Mix Reunion from 3 pm – 9 pm on Sunday, October 26th. If you don’t know about Meow Mix, it was an iconic live music lesbian bar on the Lower East Side of Manhattan from 1996–2004. It paved the way for spots like Dave’s! 🩷
Spaces like Meow Mix are sacred. Meow Mix wasn’t just nightlife; it was a lifeline. For eight great years, they gave women, queers, and nonbinary folks space to scream, sing, flirt, heal, and dance through it all.
We’re so proud that Meow Mix has linked arms with Dave’s! Together, we’re bridging generations, proving that lesbian space isn’t disappearing; it’s evolving.
Old school is not gone; it’s guiding us.
New school is not replacing; it’s rising up from the roots.

🗣️ Come be gay as hell with us on Saturday to celebrate lesbian legacies, lesbian futures and our lesbian RIGHT NOW! We’re popping up at the iconic Astoria Park Pool with five incredible queer bands, local queer organizations and cozy picnic vibes!
Co-Op Fest
Come join us at Pig Beach in Queens for our co-op fest/fundraiser alongside Dave's Lesbian Bar and Bluestockings Cooperative! We'll have music from local bands, books and merch for sale, live screenprinting, tabling from amazing worker-owned cooperatives and other organizations, and more. The show is technically free, but purchasing a ticket (or donating) helps all three of us. Ticket link + more info in bio!

New Agora series at Socrates Sculpture Park teams up with Dave's Lesbian Bar to present “Queer Cafeteria,” New York City’s first LGBTQ+ food festival and market. Join us for a day of live music, performances and delicious bites made by queer chefs. One year into its’ mission to open a community center and music venue in Astoria, Dave’s Lesbian Bar entertains the Queens and LGBTQ+ community with monthly pop-ups that are centered around amplifying queer creatives while giving back to the community.
